The debates on the second no-confidence motion against the Denkov cabinet will be the first item on Parliament's agenda on Wednesday, shows the National Assembly's draft schedule, published on its website.

The debate was scheduled last week by Parliament Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov for November 15 (Wednesday). The vote itself, according to the rules of procedure of the National Assembly, can be held no earlier than 24 hours after the end of the debates.

The draft decision for a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov's Government was tabled on November 8 by BSP for Bulgaria, Vazrazhdane and There is Such a People. The motive for the requested resignation of the cabinet is its alleged inability to ensure the national security and defence of this country.

GERB-UDF and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms have said earlier they will not support the resignation of the cabinet requested by the three opposition formations. The motion cannot pass in Parliament without GERB-UDF and the MRF.

The first vote of no confidence in the Denkov cabinet was rejected on 13 October at an extraordinary session of Parliament. It was tabled by 72 MPs from BSP for BUlgaria, Vazrazhdane, TISP and independent MP Radostin Vassilev "because of the failure of the Government in the energy sector".
