The Council of Ministers Wednesday adopted a decision approving a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) of international contract BU-P-LAY Acquisition of Multifunctional Information Distribution System/MIDS Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), MIDS Low Volume Terminal (LVT) Block Upgrade 2/BU2) and necessary support.

The entry into force of the BU-P-LAY international treaty, following subsequent ratification by the National Assembly, will enhance the secure data exchange capabilities between the NATO combat platforms of the Bulgarian Air Force and Navy.
