The Movement for Rights and Freedom (MRF) expressed satisfaction with the list of priorities announced earlier Thursday by the Prime Minister-designate of GERB-UDF, Mariya Gabriel. "The issues Mariya Gabriel starts with are good and conducive to unity," MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi told reporters in Parliament.

He said that the "idea for removing the Prosecutor General cannot be a stumbling block for talks with GERB-UDF on a government".

As she presented her ten priorities, Gabriel started off with the announcement that the first thing she will do is ask her possible Justice Minister to move for removal of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev for damaging the reputation of the judiciary.

MRF has to date been among the staunchest supporters of Geshev.

Karadayi said: "The idea for moving such a proposal [for Geshev's removal] to the Supreme Judicial Council is good because there is tension is society and it needs to be delt with."
