At its weekly meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved BGN 12,108,000 (inclusive of VAT) in additional funding for the Central Election Commission this year. The resources will cover the activities for ensuring technically and logistically the machine voting in the April 2 snap general elections. 

The activities include preparation, modification, and setting of the parameters of the voting machines' software, including the preparation of a demo version; preparation, installation, and packaging of the machines in the warehouse; logistics and technical servicing of the machines on April 1 and 2 and their transport within and outside of Bulgaria, as well as provision of a maintenance centre for problems with the voting machines.
