BSP-United Left Floor Leader Nataliya Kiselova stated in a televised interview for NOVA TV here on Thursday that she thinks there is a crack in the prosecution office, within which there are reasonable people who would like to work in a different climate.
According to her, the outcome of the Supreme Judicial Council meeting was expected and from now on, various procedures are possible to bypass the mandate of the office to resolve the case with the current acting Prosecutor General. "I personally am opposed to these temporary appointments, because it is clear that this may exceed a reasonable period," added Kiselova.
She also commented on the case of the accused Bulgarian European prosecutor, and according to her, this is a serious blow to the image of our justice system, prosecution office, as well as Bulgaria as a whole.
She expressed hope that the caretaker government would show through its actions, despite the party affiliation of its members, that it is a government of everyone, and not just of a particular coalition.
"Everyone was staring at the BSP-United Left and did not see that, in their panic that the left might support the veto, MPs from the MRF-New Beginning voted to overcome it," noted Kiselova on the occasion of the voting to re-adopt the changes to the Electoral Code on Tuesday and added: "The colleagues from our group who did not comply with the party decision will bear their consequences, but the votes came from elsewhere."
According to her, after the election of Krum Zarkov as BSP Chair, it is no longer a question of whether the left will enter the next parliament, but by how much. "We have realized the mistakes that led us to this situation and in the coming weeks of the campaign we will show a refreshed face. I think we will present ourselves with dignity," concluded Natalia Kiselova.
