Deputy Transport and Communications Minister Dimitar Nedyalkov and Ambassador of Mongolia to Bulgaria, Sayanaa Lkhagvasuren, signed an Agreement on International Road Transport of Passengers and Goods and an Agreement on Air Transport, the Transport Ministry said in a press release on Friday.

"These two agreements lay the foundation for direct transport connectivity between our two friendly countries. They will create favourable conditions for mobility, trade and economic growth, bringing our countries closer despite the geographical distance," Nedyalkov said.

He noted that the agreements will provide favourable conditions for transport operators and ensure transparent and equal rules for all stakeholders.

According to Nedyalkov, the signed agreements open a new chapter in transport relations between Bulgaria and Mongolia and will strengthen ties between people and businesses in both countries.
