Traffic is heavy for trucks exiting Bulgaria through the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo control checkpoints on the border with Turkiye, Interior Ministry’s Border Police General Directorate said on their website on Friday morning.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with the Republic of North Macedonia and along the border with Serbia.

At the border with Romania, traffic is normal at all crossings. Major repair works are underway on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, where a temporary traffic organization has been introduced. Traffic is limited to a single lane and regulated by the contractor’s staff.

Traffic is also normal at all checkpoints at the border with Greece. Construction works are underway on the Greek side of the Rudozem-Xanthi route. Authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and prohibiting unauthorized access.
