site.btaAlbena AD Represents Bulgaria at Major International Tourism Fair in Istanbul

For the first time, the Bulgarian resort Albena is participating in the International Tourism and Travel Fair in Istanbul. Albena has its own booth, presenting the resort not only as a leading Black Sea summer destination, but also as a year-round location for balneotherapy and spa tourism, thanks to its natural mineral springs, a signature feature of the resort.

Visitors are also being introduced to Albena’s extensive sports facilities, with the resort holding the title of European Resort of Sport.

This year’s edition of the fair opened Thursday at the Kadir Topbas Congress Center on the shores of the Sea of Marmara and will run for two days.

The event is organized for the third time by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) — uniting over 700 companies in the sector — in partnership with the Congress Tourism Organization.

According to the fair’s official website, more than 15,000 professionals from across the tourism industry are participating this year, including tour operators, airlines, transport service providers, cruise companies, hotels, spa and wellness businesses, and marketing agencies from around 50 countries worldwide.

The goal of the forum is to foster new business collaborations and serve as a broader platform for promoting new tourism products and services. The program also includes roundtable discussions on key industry topics.

Highlights of the fair include the Tourism Summit and the Gastronomy Summit, where experts will discuss challenges facing the sector, emerging tourism trends, culinary tourism, and developments in global travel.
