The Bulgarian Embassy in Skopje and the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Centre there organized a meeting on Thursday of representatives of Bulgarian businesses in the Republic of North Macedonia. On the agenda of the discussion was the promotion of the upcoming economic initiatives of the Bulgarian Embassy in Skopje and the events which the Cultural and Information Centre plans to organize to promote the Bulgarian culture and artists.

The head of the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Centre, Antonia Veleva, presented the initiatives on the calendar of the Centre held so far and the upcoming events until the end of the year. Veleva said that the aim is, together with the partners in Skopje, to present the cultures of the two neighbouring countries because this is how conditions are created for people to know each other better.

Bulgarian Ambassador in Skopje Angel Angelov said that the efforts are focused on showing Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia in all areas. Angelov invited the business representatives of the two countries to attend the big business forum planned to be held on December 7. He said that the bilateral commercial exchange is about to exceed EUR 1 billion this year.

A presentation showcased BTA's Press Club in Skopje as a venue for news conferences and meetings.
