Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) Floor Leader Kiril Veselinski said Friday that the party will submit another vote of no confidence against the Rosen Zhelyazkov Cabinet. Earlier in the day, the National Assembly rejected the fourth no-confidence motion against the current Government.

The vote will be on internal order and security and the Government will fall in a few weeks, in the autumn there will be elections, which the majority of Bulgarian citizens expect, Veselinski said. “We will table it when we are fully ready and it is written out with significant reasons,” the MP added. “We are in talks with Continue the Change, who are ready to get involved, Alliance for Rights and Freedoms and all the other opposition parties,” Veselinski added.

He said Friday's no-confidence motion was expectedly unsuccessful. Velichie's motives were not prepared well, but it is a fact that it achieved a result that is getting closer and closer to bringing down the Cabinet of [GERB-UDF Floor Leader Boyko] Borissov and [Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan] Peevski," Veselinski said. According to him, Borissov behaves as Peevski's hostage and relies entirely on his support.

“I hope Democratic Bulgaria will take their eyes off Borissov's back, relax from their attempts to grab and hang on to him because it is clear that Bulgaria is part of the euro area, and [it is time to] start fighting corruption,” Veselinski said when asked whether he expected support from the political formation. “Bulgarians are poor - whether they are poor in euro or in lev, they will continue to be poor and this is no reason to support the criminal model of Borissov and Peevski,” Veselinski added.
