site.btaBulgarian School in Amsterdam Organizes Charity to Support Its Activities


Amsterdam-based First Bulgarian school “ABV” and the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Centre in the city are organizing a charity raffle to support their educational activities, Elitsa Yordanova, the founder of the school, told the Bulgarian News Agency on June 1.
The funds will be used to finance educational and cultural projects for the Bulgarian community in the Netherlands.
Participants in the raffle can win a painting by the Bulgarian actor and artist, Vasil Vasilev-Zouek.
First Bulgarian School “ABV” in Amsterdam was founded in 2013 by Elitsa Yordanova and Kamelia Stefanova. The school offers classes in Bulgarian language and literature, history and geography for children from kindergarten to secondary school level. They also have Bulgarian language classes for adults, says their official website.
There are also extracurricular activities which introduce students to Bulgarian holidays and traditions.
