Viktor Orban Says Hungary Ready to Mediate between Sofia and Skopje in View of Tirana-Skopje Decoupling on EU Accession Path
Hungary is ready to mediate between Bulgaria and North Macedonia in order to find a solution "that is acceptable to both sides", Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at a press conference in Ohrid after a joint meeting of ministers from Hungary and North Macedonia. He described as a historic mistake, for which he sees no reason, the decoupling of North Macedonia and Albania on the path to EU accession. The press conference was broadcast on the internet channel of the Government in Skopje.
