If Dimitar Glavchev decides to replace someone in his proposed cabinet lineup, he should have very solid arguments because this will grow  political crisis, Vice President Iliana Iotova told journalists in Cetinje, Montenegro, on Friday, commenting on the Glavchev's caretaker cabinet proposal.

Obviously, this caretaker cabinet, as intended by the amendments to the Constitution, is a big misunderstanding, she added.

Iotova said she could not comment on the composition because this is the model and the practical implementation of the changes in the Constitution. This is what they asked for and this is what they got, she added.

In her words, from now on the responsibility lies with the Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev, and with the ministers he has invited. Iotova noted that she had no insight into some of the work of the nominated ministers, but said that others were good experts, such as in her opinion the nominated Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova.

Asked about Radev's choice of a caretaker prime minister, the vice-president said this was the only one who had agreed to be prime minister. According to her, the fact that some parties were retrospectively explaining how there were other willing candidates simply did not correspond to the truth.

As the elections approach, more and more new and scandalous facts will be brought out, from the so-called coalition or non-coalition rule in the last nine months, she said.
