Tourist trips by sea from Burgas to St Anastasia Island will take place on Saturday and Sunday, as the weather forecast shows warm weather and calm sea, Burgas Municipality said in a press release. The courses will begin from 12:00 on both days from Dock 1 at the Marine Station and will be carried out by the Burgus municipal ship.

On St Anastasia Island there is a museum, a church with restored frescoes dating back to the 14th century, as well as ancient stone walls and inscriptions that have been preserved.

Tourists can also visit a guest house overlooking the Bay of Burgas and have the possibility of staying overnight in a monk's cell. There is also a pharmacy offering remedies of herbs grown on the island, as well as a restaurants serving seafood and monastic cuisine. Shellfish dishes take a central place on the menu, as the area around St Anastasia Island is the largest natural mussel plantation in the region.
