Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Co-leader Delyan Peevski told journalists in Parliament on Wednesday that the agreement text that is being discussed was written personally by him and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Co-floor Leader Kiril Petkov, and that it was coordinated with GERB. 

On Tuesday, when GERB's Prime Minister-designate handed President Rumen Radev a proposal for a government lineup, she said that she signed a governance agreement with CC-DB two days before that. Raya Nazaryan of GERB's negotiating team clarified that the document was approved by DB co-leader Hristo Ivanov at 6pm on Monday but the other CC-DB co-leaders - Atanas Atanassov of DB and Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev of CC - refused to sign it.

Peevski said on Wednesday that his party had no claim to the agreement and everything was clarified. 

He said he does not understand CC-DB's desire to "politically control the [special] services". According to Peevski, for the time being there is one political appointment in the State Agency for National Security and it is of Petar Petrov, an MP of CC-DB. Peevski noted that his party does not agree with CC-DB on the topic of the confidentiality of investigations. 

"Even when we were making the Constitution we had to help them enormously. The whole Constitution was made by Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Slavov, with our participation, Borissov only gave support. Hristo was every day in my office and we wrote the Constitution," Peevski said. 

According to him, Hristo Ivanov wants elections, and his partners Kiril Petkov, Assen Vassilev, and Atanas Atanasov, need to wake up and reason with Hristo Ivanov.
