The analysis of the ministries' work ahead of the government rotation in March is half-finished, Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel told journalists on Tuesday on her way into a defence industry and innovation conference in Sofia.

The conference has been organized by the Defence Ministry in collaboration with the Innovation and Growth Ministry and the Economy and Industry Ministry.

Gabriel said one more round of talks is due with the ministers to discuss some of the measures that need to be implemented. It remains to be decided what the next goals should be. The current governance programme, whose goal is to give Bulgaria resilience and stability, expires at the end of 2024, and the ministers should suggest a continuation of the measures. It is important that the talks should continue in a very constructive and very positive atmosphere, Gabriel said.

Taking a question, the deputy prime minister said every political party has the right to defend its position. So far, there has been very good alignment with the parliamentary groups supporting the government, she said.
