site.bta9 Athletes to Represent Bulgaria at Baku World Shooting Championship

Nine athletes will represent Bulgaria at the World Shooting Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, which will start next week.

Antoaneta Kostadinova, Miroslava Mincheva and Lidiya Nencheva will participate in women's pistol, Samuil Donkov, Kiril Kirov and Kaloyan Stamenov in men's pistol, Anton Rizov and Georgi Kanev in men's rifle and Tanya Rizova in women's rifle.

The delegation will consist of three coaches - Lyuben Popov, Ivanka Belcheva-Petkova and Hristo Hristov, with the leader of the group being Ivan Ivanov.

The shooters are currently at a camp in "Dianabad", Sofia. The departure will be in two groups - the pistol competitors leave for Baku on August 15 by flight via Istanbul. A day later Anton Rizov, Tanya Rizova, Georgi Kanev and the rifle coach Ivanka Belcheva-Petkova will follow them.
