Deputy Foreign Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev accepted copies of the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Bulgaria, Messaoud Mehila.

During the meeting, the readiness of both sides to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and to activate political dialogue at the highest and highest level was confirmed.

Kodzhabashev stressed that Algeria is a very important economic partner to Bulgaria in North Africa. He stressed the need to strengthen ties between the two countries in areas such as energy, defense industry and tourism. The possibility of conducting political consultations between the two foreign ministries was also discussed.
