In Romania, polling day in Bulgaria's snap general elections started at 7:00 Sunday. The first Bulgarian to exercise his right to vote was a 48-year-old man. He cast his ballot at 7:35.

Bulgarians in Romania can vote in one polling station, in the Bulgarian embassy in Bucharest. Voting is by paper ballot, without machines.

Traditionally, around 200 people vote at the polling station in Bucharest. In the last parliamentary elections in October 2022, 235 ballots were cast.
