site.btaSailors Released from Оne of Bulgarian Vessels Detained in Constanta, Crew of Other Two Still Detained

The crew of one of the three detained Bulgarian fishing vessels in the Romanian port of Constanta was released after the questioning of its captain was completed, said to BTA Ambassador of Bulgaria to Romania Radko Vlaikov.
The questioning of the captains of the other two ships is currently underway. The are expected to also be released soon, and there is a high probability that the ten sailors will be released on Saturday evening, Ambassador Vlaikov said. He added that relatives of the sailors arrived on the spot and brought them clothes.
The Ambassador indicated that the vessels would be detained and sealed with a prosecutor's order. Given the late hour at which the interrogations will end, the Romanian authorities will probably allow sailors who cannot return to Varna on Saturday to spend the night on one of the ships and it will be sealed on Sunday morning, he added.
Ambassador Vlaikov stressed that in the last 36 hours, the efforts of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry and the Embassy were focused entirely on releasing the sailors, and how the issue with the ships will develop depends entirely on the Romanian prosecution service.
