Bulgaria's Honorary Consul in Timisoara and member of Romania's Chamber of Deputies representing the Bulgarian national minority, Gheorghe Nacov, told BTA on Tuesday that the Romanian government is expected to approve EUR 1.7 million in state aid for the Bulgarian minority in Romania on Wednesday. Nacov read out a political declaration in front of the Parliament on the occasion of Bulgaria's national holiday, March 3.
