site.btaLogistic Support 26-1 Military Exercise to Take Place from April 27 to 30

The Logistic Support 26-1 tactical-special exercise will take place from April 27 to April 30 at the Todorovo training ground. The theme of the exercise is "Deployment of a convoy support centre to ensure the movement of allied forces within the country." Up to 200 military personnel and up to 50 pieces of equipment from military units under the Logistics Support Command in Sofia and Lovech will participate, the Defence Ministry press service reported on Friday.

In preparation for the exercise, on April 27 and 30, personnel and military equipment will be transported via the national road network from Sofia and Lovech to the Todorovo vehicle depot near Pleven, North Central Bulgaria. On April 27 and 28, military personnel, vehicles, and supplies of the Polish Armed Forces will be transported via the national road network to participate in the NATO Tiger Meet 2026 exercise in Greece. After the exercise concludes, on May 16 and 17, they will return through Bulgaria.

Between April 28 and May 1, rail convoys belonging to the armed forces of Sweden will also pass through the country.
