Progressive Bulgaria leader Rumen Radev presented the formation’s candidate list in Gabrovo and said that “society is emerging from apathy and looking ahead to the future and a new progressive Bulgaria.”

According to Radev, Gabrovo is a symbol of the Bulgarian people’s enduring aspiration towards education and success.

The Progressive Bulgaria leader said that as president, he had often entered into battles because he had witnessed numerous cases of plunder, outrageous public procurement practices, unsightly coalitions and missed opportunities for investment in Bulgaria. He argued that the coalition has a clear goal, namely to remove the “[Movement for Rights and Freedoms leader Delyan] Peevski – [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov” model from power, to protect the vulnerable, because the oligarchy is destroying business.

He stressed that money in Bulgaria should remain for the people here and that the country should not be drawn into the military conflicts raging around it.
