site.btaBoyan Mitrakiev Named Executive Director of Confederation of Employers and Industrialists

The Management Board of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG) has approved the appointment of Boyan Mitrakiev as Executive Director, effective March 1.

Mitrakiev graduated from City University of Seattle with a degree in Business Administration and earned a PhD in Public Communications and Information Systems from New Bulgarian University. He has 15 years' experience as a consultant in public communications and information technology. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of National and Regional Security at the University of National and World Economy.

Evgeny Ivanov, who was Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors for 27 years, will become Honorary Executive Director, responsible for European projects and programmes. The Management Board said it highly appreciated Ivanov's "long-standing, consistent and extremely valuable contribution" to the employer organization.
