A total of 332 medals will be awarded at the European Shooting Championship for Juniors in Burgas. The medals have been specially produced for the Bulgarian championship. The obverse features a target, sea waves and traditional embroidery, symbolizing sport shooting, Burgas and Bulgaria, respectively, while the reverse depicts the logo of the European Shooting Confederation.

The official opening is scheduled for February 3, with the competition taking place from February 4 to 14 and free admission for spectators. Around 800 participants from nearly 40 countries are expected to compete. The event is significant in scale, as European champions will be crowned in the youth category as well as in the under-18 and under-16 age groups.

A total of 54 finals will be contested during the championship, 27 in air rifle and 27 in air pistol, for youths (men and women), under-18 boys and girls, and under-16 boys and girls. Two bronze medals will be awarded only in the four duet events in air rifle and air pistol in the under-18 and under-16 categories. In total, 108 gold, 108 silver and 116 bronze medals will be awarded at Arena Burgas Hall.

The continental championship is organized by the Bulgarian Shooting Union and the European Shooting Confederation.

For the first time in three decades, Bulgaria is hosting a continental shooting championship of this scale. The country has hosted the European Shooting Championship four times before, in 1975, 1985 and 1992, with the most recent edition held in Sofia in 1996.
