Outgoing Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov Thursday expressed his condolences following a deadly explosion at a crowded bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana. In a post on X, he wished the injured a speedy and full recovery.

Several dozen people may have died in the blast, the Associated Press and Reuters reported, citing a police statement. Some 100 people were injured, many seriously, according to the authorities. Police said numerous victims were receiving treatment for burns, and that more than 100 people had been inside the bar when the explosion occurred.
