Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) signed a media partnership agreement with the DNA Association and the Bulgaria Wants You platform on Wednesday. The document was signed by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and Bulgaria Wants You co-founder Andrey Arnaudov at the agency's National Press Club in Sofia.

In his speech, Valchev expressed the hope that this new partnership will contribute to enriching two of BTA's columns - Baby on Time and BG World.

Baby on Time aims to encourage young people in Bulgaria to plan in time when to become parents, he said. The column also focuses on the medical issues of delaying the moment to have a child. "We are also promoting that young people can be successful in their careers despite having a baby on time," the Director General added.

BG World provides information from and about Bulgarians abroad, Valchev also noted. "In all issues we rely on DNA/Bulgaria Wants You to help us better brand Bulgaria around the world," he stressed.

Arnaudov also expects a positive effect from the partnership with BTA. He pointed out that he would be happy to see positive news related to conscious parenthood on the one hand and the attitude of the young people in the country to the opportunity to develop in Bulgaria, on the other. He recalled that the Do It Now birth promotion information campaign of the DNA Association has been running for seven years.

During the news conference, short videos on the happiness of becoming a parent were also presented. Stories of young Bulgarians who returned to Bulgaria from abroad and found their dream job after attending the Bulgaria Wants You events, were also shown.

BTA's feeds will also include information about Bulgaria Wants You's "Career & Life - Why Bulgaria?" career forum as well as the "Demography Has No Price" national discussion. The two events will take place in Sofia Tech Park on June 11 and 12, respectively, and are under the auspices of Vice President Iliana Iotova.
