Reflection Theatre in Toronto will hold a dance party for the Day of Spring on Saturday, the Bulgarian theatre troupe said in a Facebook post.

The event will take place at St. George’s Macedono-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church in Toronto.

The organizers invited people to see off winter and welcome spring with rhythm, smiles and a festive mood. They said the party would feature dancing, a celebratory programme prepared with care and a touch of theatrical magic, as well as plenty of laughter and good company.

Reflection Theatre was founded in 2018 as a non-profit organisation based in Toronto. Its team says its aim is to create live, contemporary, professional theatre and to offer varied, educational and thought-provoking theatre events for the Bulgarian community in Toronto and other cities in Canada and the United States.

The troupe says its main priority is to preserve and promote Bulgarian culture and creativity, uphold the uniqueness of the Bulgarian language, and help bring the younger generation closer to it.

So far, Reflection Theatre has staged Marshrutka (2018), directed by Simeon Dimitrov, Three Men and One Margarita (2019), directed by Elin Rahnev, Song of the Cicadas (2019), directed by Simeon Dimitrov, Test (2020), directed by Elin Rahnev, Not for the Phone (2022), directed by Elin Rahnev, Babylonians (2023), directed by Rositsa Obreshkova, Balkan Syndrome (2024), directed by Lyubomir Kolaksazov, Always Ready (2025), directed by Nikolay Gunderov, and S-Tiho-Tvoreniya (2025), directed by Lyubomir Kolaksazov.
