Atmosphere Balneo Hotel & SPA is expanding its portfolio of procedures and facilities in 2026, focusing on balneotherapy, prevention, and recovery, the hotel’s manager Mila Taneva told BTA.

A recent addition to the complex is an ozone capsule designed for intensive detoxification, rejuvenation and beauty, improved health and immunity, weight management and fitness, as well as relaxation and overall vitality, Taneva explained. Another new feature is a magnesium pool, which supports muscle relaxation and recovery, reduces stress, improves skin health, aids detoxification, enhances circulation, and contributes to overall wellbeing.

The five-star hotel, located in the resort town of Pavel Banya in the Stara Zagora region, has been operating for two years. The destination is known for the beneficial effects of its mineral waters, particularly for the musculoskeletal system, peripheral nervous system, and certain skin conditions.

The complex offers 140 rooms with a capacity of around 300 guests, along with a restaurant, a summer bar, indoor and outdoor pools, and three conference halls with a total capacity of 150 seats. It also features a sports complex with mini-football and tennis courts. Among its premium amenities are suites with private jacuzzies and Finnish saunas.

The hotel provides a full range of balneological and spa treatments, including facial therapies, hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, kinesitherapy, high-tech procedures, as well as electrotherapy and physiotherapy, all delivered using modern equipment.

According to Taneva, more than half of the hotel’s management and staff have worked abroad, bringing valuable experience that significantly enhances guest satisfaction. For two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025, Atmosphere has ranked among the Top 10 spa and balneotherapy hotels in Bulgaria.

BTA presents news from certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres in Bulgaria in its BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water feature. Their total number exceeds 200. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is linked to Europe’s leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, which will be held from May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena. BTA will be the event’s main media partner.
