site.btaParliament to Hear PM Zhelyazkov on GPS Signal Jamming during EC President's Landing in Plovdiv Aug. 31


Parliament will hear Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov in connection with information about the GPS signal jamming during the landing of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s plane at Plovdiv Airport on August 31. This will be the first item on the agenda for Thursday, as decided by MPs.
The hearing was added to the weekly agenda on a motion by Atanas Atanassov (Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria).
Another item was also added to the agenda – a draft declaration outlining Bulgaria’s position on the European Commission’s proposed mid-term review of cohesion policy. This will be the second item on Thursday’s agenda.
Earlier, the autumn session of the 51st National Assembly was officially opened with the national anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria and the anthem of the European Union.
