site.btaEuropean Council President Costa to Visit Bulgaria September 4 for Talks with PM Zhelyazkov

European Council President Antonio Costa will visit Bulgaria on September 4, where he will meet with Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, the European Council said in a statement released Friday.

Earlier the same day, Costa will travel to Romania for talks with President Nicușor Dan.

The visit is part of Costa’s ““Tour des Capitales” [tour of capitals] across most European countries, during which he will meet national leaders to discuss the main political priorities and working methods of the European Council. 

These working meetings with the leaders will help shape the agenda for the months ahead and provide an opportunity to discuss all the main political priorities and the working methods of the European Council.
