Polish President Andrzej Duda will pay an official visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday at the invitation of President Rumen Radev, said Radev’s press secretariat.
The prospects for advancing bilateral economic relations and investments between Bulgaria and Poland, the partnership in the security and defence sector, science, culture and education are expected to be on the agendas of the talks between the two heads of state. Radev and Duda will also discuss issues on the European Union's agenda, regional cooperation and the security environment in Europe.
President Rumen Radev and his wife, Desislava Radeva, will hold an official welcome ceremony St Alexander Nevsky Square for President Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda. The Polish head of State will pay tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
Rumen Radev and Andrzej Duda will hold a one-on-one meeting after, followed by plenary talks between the official delegations.
At the end of April, at Andrzej Duda's invitation, President Radev visited Poland to participate in the 10th Three Seas Initiative Summit.
