Bulgaria’s top female tennis player Viktoriya Tomova has moved up two positions in the latest Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings, which was updated on Monday.
The 30-year-old Bulgarian, who passed the qualifiers at the grass-court tournament in Berlin last week but was eliminated in the first round of the main draw, is now ranked 81st with a total of 826 points.
Eighteen-year-old Elizara Yaneva achieved a career-best ranking, rising to No. 642 with 60 points after reaching the semifinals of a tournament in Madrid.
The rankings continue to be led by Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka with 11,640 points, followed by two Americans, Coco Gauff with 7,899 points and Jessica Pegula with 6,048 points.
