site.btaBulgarian Athletes Win 9 Medals at Czech Aerobic Open in Prague

Bulgaria's aerobic gymnasts snagged nine medals (six gold, two silver, and one bronze medals) at Czech Aerobic Open 2024, which took place here from April 18 to 21.

In the men's and women's events, the gold for Bulgaria was won by the duo of Borislava Ivanova and Hristo Manolov as well as by the trio Borislava Ivanova, Antonio Papazov, and Tihomir Barotev. In the individual events, Ivanova and Manolov won silver medals.

In the junior events, gold medals were snagged by Alexander Mishinkov and Hristiyana Zlatanova individually, as a duo and as a team with Monika Dzhambova, Kristina Kostova, and Atanas Blagoev. Blagoev also won a bronze medal with his individual performance.

Over 600 athletes from 17 countries competed in the 17th Czech Aerobic Open. On the Bulgarian delegation were 39 athletes, five trainers, and two judges.
