site.btaEnergy Regulator to Discuss Bulgargaz Proposal for September Gas Price Cut

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) will discuss later on Tuesday a proposal by Bulgargaz for a 1.77% reduction in the price of natural gas for September, according to the regulator’s agenda.

The discussion will be based on the public supplier’s August 11 application for approval of a new price at which Bulgargaz will sell natural gas to end suppliers and to licensed producers and transmitters of heat energy.

Bulgargaz proposes that the September price be set at BGN 60.99 per megawatt-hour, excluding access and transmission fees, excise duty and VAT, the company said in its application published on the EWRC website.
