Hungary is one of Bulgaria's key partners in trade and investment, with bilateral trade amounting to EUR 2.3 billion in 2023 and reaching some EUR 1.2 billion in the first half of 2024, Bulgarian caretaker Economy and Industry Minister Petko Nikolov said, addressing the opening ceremony of a Bulgarian-Hungarian Business Forum, which is taking place in Budapest on Friday. The event was organized by the Commercial and Economic Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in Budapest.
