Construction output in Bulgaria increased by 3.5% on an annual basis in November 2025, according to data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI), released on Friday.

In November, the index of production in the construction sector rose by 1.4% compared with the previous month, according to preliminary and seasonally adjusted data from the NSI. Calendar-adjusted data show a 3.5% increase in construction output compared with the same month of 2024.

In October, the NSI reported a 1.1% decline in construction activity on a monthly basis, while on an annual basis it recorded an increase of 3.1%.

In November month-on-month, an increase was observed in civil engineering by 3.0%, in specialized construction activities by 1.2%, and in building construction by 0.6%.

An increase of 7.4% was recorded in civil engineering, 3.8% in building construction output, and 0.1% in specialized construction activities.
