site.btaPeter Petrov of Vazrazhdane: Thus Far BTA Meets Its Goals Wonderfully, Has Role in Regional Development

During the parliamentary debate on the report on BTA's activities and finances in 2024 here on Friday, Peter Petrov MP of Vazrazhdane said he would support the report because he believes that the Bulgarian News Agency has so far fulfilled its goals wonderfully.

Last year, BTA managed to open a press club in Montana (Northwestern Bulgaria), which is extremely important. The Bulgarian News Agency also plays a major role in regional development, the MP said.

BTA employees deserve an increase in their salaries, Petrov argued, adding that their activity is to inform the Bulgarian society. "I even find an analogy with Bulgarian lecturers, because they also transmit extremely important information to pupils and students," he added.
