The National Museum of Military History in Sofia organizes the Mission Scout educational game  on June 1, marking the start of summer family weekends there. On International Children's Day only, the programme will be free to anyone who purchases an admission ticket, the Museum staff announced Thursday.

In Mission Scout, children and their parents have the opportunity to be part of a military mission, test their speed, orientation and logic, and be raised in rank. There is also a reward for the successful completion of the mission - the fastest ones who find the exact coordinates of one of the most impressive fighting machines from the Museum's outdoor exhibition will be the first to enter and examine it from the inside.

As part of summer family weekends, the Museum will offer various educational programmes and games for children and their parents on Saturdays and Sunday throughout the summer months.
