site.btaVoting for Audience Award of International Literary, Film Student Competition in Burgas to Take Place Until May 15

The 12th edition of the International Literary and Film Student Competition Whoever Saves a Single Life, Saves an Entire Universe will give the audience the opportunity to choose their winner through online voting, which is open until May 15, said the organizers from the Alef Centre for Jewish-Bulgarian Cooperation on Monday. 

A total of 60 young Bulgarian authors took part in the Bulgarian Short Story category of the competition with literary stories on the theme of the Holocaust and saving human lives. Nineteen participants from Bulgaria and four from Italy submitted their works in the contest. From these, the jury nominated 12 literary stories and 8 films to compete for the Audience Award. 

The winner will be announced during the award ceremony on May 31 at the NHK Cultural Centre in Burgas. The monetary dimension of the Audience Award is provided by the Culture Ministry.
