site.bta40th Edition of Flora Flower Exhibition Opens in Burgas
The 40th edition of the National Flora Flower Exhibition is on in Burgas until May 6. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the stands of Bulgarian flower producers, planting material, garden equipment, and many more.
More than 100 participants are taking part in this year's exhibition. The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Union of Landscape Architects in Bulgaria, the Austrian Embassy in Sofia, as well as the Burgas branch of the National Academy of Arts are also participating in the exhibition with their own initiatives.
Attending the opening on April 26, Burgas Deputy Mayor for Culture Diana Savateva said that if there are events that represent the wealth, spirit, energy and beauty of Burgas, it is Flora. "To hold an event, to develop it, you really need love and energy. From the 1980s to today, Flora - Burgas has been moving forward and upward. And I hope it will be a powerful floral springboard to our successful performance in the race for European Capital of Culture", Savateva said.
Austrian Ambassador to Bulgaria Andrea Ikic-Bohm said this is an event that inspires with its beauty and sustainability.
