Writers Karl-Markus Gauss (Austria), Lucie Faulerova (Czechia) and Jente Posthuma (Netherlands) will have meetings with readers at the National Palace of Culture (Sofia’s NDK convention centre) on Thursday, the organizers announced. They are guests of the Sofia International Literary Festival.

Discussions in the first professional programme for publishers in the country continue on Thursday. Topics to be discussed by publishers, agents, translators and authors include children's titles in translation and the promotion of national literature.

The Sofia International Book Fair will run until December 15.
