The Israeli metal band Orphaned Land will perform in Bulgaria 11 years after its last gig here. The concert will take place in Sofia's Mixtape 5 on September 17, BGTSC reported.

The event's opening acts will be Science of Disorder, Lone Survivor and Nest of Plagues.

Orphaned Land was founded in 1991. The band's music combines Mizrahi and Maghrebi Jewish, Arabic, Turkish, and other Middle Eastern and North African musical elements, with metal, as well as from Sephardic music, and other sounds from the Mediterranean.
