The Council of Ministers adopted a decision approving Bulgaria's accession to NASA's Artemis Accords, defining the basic principles for global cooperation in outer space, said the government press office here on Wednesday.

The Artemis Accords are aimed at deepening international cooperation between countries in the peaceful use of outer space.

Joining the NASA Artemis Accords will provide Bulgaria with an additional positive signal to international partners of the importance this country attaches to further deepening its strategic partnership in space technology, the statement added.
