site.btaSofia Paper Art Fest Launches 13th Edition on May 23, Continues until October 30

The 13th edition of Sofia Paper Art Fest will be launched on May 23 and will continue until October 30, continuing the trend of hybrid content. The programme of the event features both real-life and virtual exhibitions, online events, a workshop, experimental urban environment events, an online series of lectures, a youth competition, as well as film screenings, presentations and travelling formats, the organizers said.

The fest will be unveiled officially with two exhibitions - "Ethereal", presenting the selections of the traditional Amateras Foundation competition, and "Power", featuring large-format works of Bulgarian artists, again chosen by competition. 

The programme also features travelling exhibitions abroad, which were put rescheduled from previous editions of the fest and will now be shown at different times over the year, the organizers said.

Eight locations in Sofia and four abroad have been announced as hosts of the fest: the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg; the Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai, UAE; the Center of Visual Arts in Cacak, Serbia and the Kunsthaus Dresden, IAPMA Congress.
