An exhibition, presentations, music, painting and cinema will be featured during a Portuguese Culture Week in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Burgas between June 27 and 30. The event is being organized by Instituto Camоes Bulgaria and the Seaside Casino Cultural Centre in Burgas, the municipal press office said.

The events will open at Georgi Baev Hall of the Seaside Casino with a presentation by students of the local English Language School who also study Portuguese. At the same venue, the Director of Espaco Camoes Sofia, Anaisa Gordino, will open a photo exhibition highlighting the UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage in Portugal.

An annual festival of Portuguese cinema will be held at the Snail Outdoor Stage, with screenings planned every evening.

The Georgi Baev Gallery will host the other events of the Portuguese Culture Week. An art studio called The Colours of Portugal will be a major highlight. There will be an open lesson of Portuguese and a workshop for making a ceramic art panel.
