The sixth edition of the Hello, Space! Bulgaria Calling! festival will take place on June 26–27, at Sofia Tech Park, organizers of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria said.

For the first time, the festival will be held over two days, with a programme dedicated both to inspiration and career development in the STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

On Friday, visitors can scientists, engineers, and innovators, participate in workshops and scientific demonstrations, and experience cutting-edge technologies. A major highlight of this year's programme will be a live virtual connection with Timothy Kopra, a NASA astronaut with an 18-year career, former commander of the International Space Station, and veteran of two space missions. He currently serves as Chief Human Spaceflight Officer at Voyager Technologies, where he works on the future of human space exploration, according to the Atlantic Club.

On June 27, the initiative will continue with the pilot edition of "Hello, Space! STEAM Careers", organized in partnership with the Technical University of Sofia and SofiaTalks. The event will focus on career guidance for high school and university students interested in space and STEAM disciplines. The programme includes lectures, an interactive exhibition, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities, with participants gaining direct access to internships and educational programs, the organizers said.

Under the motto "We Are Overtaking the Future", the festival continues its mission to make science accessible to children, young people, parents and teachers, the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria added.
