site.btaRoundtable Discussion on Women in Innovation to Be Held in Sofia

EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation Ekaterina Zaharieva and Deputy Prime Minister and Innovation Minister Tomislav Donchev will open a roundtable discussion on the topic "Women in Innovation" on October 30 at the Planet Schwarz Tech Theater, the organisers from the Ladies Forum Association announced.

Zaharieva will also be a key panellist in the discussion, which will include Bulgarian Academy of Sciences President Evelina Slavcheva.

The event will be structured around two panels. The business panel, "Women Behind Bold Ideas", will be moderated by Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency Executive Director Boyko Takov, while the "Future in Science and Technology" panel will be moderated by Silverline Capital Partner Diana Aladzhova.

"The main focus of the Women’s Forum Association is the empowerment of modern women – through mentorship, educational formats for business development, encouraging financial independence, and of course, through shared knowledge from the best examples at home and abroad," said the Association’s Management Board Chair Diana Miteva.
