Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov will visit the Port of Varna on Monday to discuss the future development of the Varna-East, Varna-West, and Ferry Complex - Varna terminals with trade union representatives, the Transport and Communications Ministry said. A press briefing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the administrative building of the Port of Varna.

During his visit, Karadjov will inspect operations at the port terminals and meet with representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Shipping.

Later in the day, at 3:00 p.m., the Deputy Prime Minister will attend the Annual Meeting of Local Authorities in the Albena resort, where he will present policies for the development and management of state and municipal infrastructure through concessions and public-private partnerships.

The Annual Meeting of Local Authorities, organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB), began on October 12 and brings together nearly 700 participants from local and central government, business, academia, partner organizations, and foreign guests involved in improving municipal governance and sustainable development.
