site.btaGovernment Approves Funds for Shipka Monastery Heating System and Construction of New Church in Plovdiv

Тhe Government approved changes to the expenditures in the Council of Ministers' budget for 2025 to provide additional funds for the Bulgarian Orthodox Church - Bulgarian Patriarchate in the amount of BGN 3,150,000, the Cabinet's information service reported that at its regular meeting on Wednesday. The funds will be distributed as follows: BGN 1,000,000 for the construction of a heating system at the Shipka Monastery Nativity of Christ, on the outskirts of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak Municipality, and BGN 2,150,000 for the construction of the St Hermas of Philippopolis Church (St Boris I (Mihail) the Baptizer) in Plovdiv, Trakia borough.
